During week 1 your child learned about rational and irrational numbers. He or she also learned to distinguish rational, irrational, whole numbers and integers. We also reviewed how to add and subtract real numbers and to order numbers on a number line. Below are videos which cover the material from class.

Unit: Exponents
This week we cover multiplying and dividing real numbers, exponents, roots, properties of real numbers, and evaluating algebraic expressions.

Unit: Approximating Square Roots
This week we are studying how to combine like terms and approximating square roots. There is a test this Friday.

Unit: Solving one and multi-step and absolute value equations.
